Two months after Oshima Yuko took the center spot of AKB48 with Gingham Check, she once again leads the super idol group in their 28th single UZA. Composed by Inoue Yoshimasa, who also composed AKB48 hits like Beginner and River, UZA is a pulsating electro-dance number that will also serve as the ad theme song for a renowned Japanese beverage brand. The single also includes Tsuki no Season and an additional B-side track.

This edition includes Kodoku na Hoshizora by the new Team A as the second B-side track. It comes with a bonus DVD containing the music videos for all three songs on the single and the director's version of the Gingham Check music video.
