We live in an era in which hard work may not pay off, and dreams may just be dreams. Where is a good man to go during difficult times? Da Qi (Austin Lin), Yong Qing (Patty Lee) and Liang (Bryant Chang) were close friends during high school. The three promised each other to grow up into the adults they want to become. After graduation, they each walked their own paths. The next time they meet again is at Liang's funeral. His shocking death left behind many questions for those around him, including his wife and children. When Da Qi and Yong Qing try to find answers, they discover that Liang was heavily in debt, and that his widow (Esther Huang) has been left in a desperate situation.

PTS mini-series Who Killed the Good Man depicts the trials and tribulations faced by young professionals, and the unforgiving toll of debt and financial pressure. The six-episode Taiwan drama stars Austin Lin (The Mirror), Bryant Chang (Déjà vu), Patty Lee (Marry Me, or Not?), Esther Huang (See You in Time) and Edward Chen (Your Name Engraved Herein).
