Da Ai TV's acclaimed 2011 five-episode series Son, My Love Forever tells the true story of a grieving mother who loses her son but finds the strength to give life to others. About to begin college, kind and optimistic youth Zhi Qian (Morning Mo) has his whole life ahead of him. One day, he gets into an accident on the way to school and is critically injured. While he lies comatose at the hospital, his mother Shen Hui (Pan Li Li) is shocked to hear the doctor bring up the words "organ donation." Refusing to give up, Shen Hui transfers Zhi Qian to a different hospital, but he shows no signs of improvement. As she faces a mother's most difficult crossroad, Shen Hui recalls that Zhi Qian once expressed his support for organ donation.
