Korea's newest boy band A.N.JELL has arrived... on television! The highly anticipated SBS idol drama You're Beautiful takes audiences behind the glitz and glamor of a fictional superstar pop band, following their backstage trials, dorm life, romantic drama, and unstoppable rise to fame. Jang Keun Suk (Beethoven Virus), who's moonlighted as a singer for movies and CMs, plays the bristly lead singer of idol band A.N.JELL. The other members are, fittingly, FTIsland's Lee Hong Ki, who plays the band's cheerful British-Korean drummer, and Jung Yong Hwa from rookie band CNBLUE. Starlet Park Shin Hye (Palace S) gender bends as the newest member of A.N.JELL, an aspiring nun who steps in for her twin brother, and turns the band upside down! Written by the Hong Sisters (My Girl, Hong Gil Dong), You're Beautiful also co-stars After School's UEE (Queen Seon Duk), Jung Chan, and Kim In Kwon (Surgeon Bong Dal Hee).

A.N.JELL may be a fictional band, but their songs are plenty real and two of them, "Still" (Track 8) and "Promise" (Track 9), are featured in the drama's soundtrack. FTIsland's version of "Still" (Track 1) plus Lee Hong Ki and Jung Yong Hwa's version of "Promise" are also included, along with two solos from Park Shin Hye and a duet by Miss $ and former FTIsland member Won Bin! Songwriter Han Sung Ho, who has contributed to the soundtracks of hit K-dramas like Lovers and Brilliant Legacy, and producer Park Se Joon teamed up to produce the 11-track You're Beautiful OST.

I received the merchandise in a timely manner, no complains. Faster than I thought.
I would recommend this OST to every fan of you're beautiful, it takes you back to the scenes of the drama.
I'm so glad about song number 6, I' love it.

I love this ost the best. It consists of all the greatest sountracks from the drama only.
And there's not one you would want to skip.
It surely is the best out of the greatest ever!

 best OST ever!!! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I don't usually write reviews but for YB, I'll do it.

Unlike the previous reviewer, I'll say that YB OSTs are well worth my money. I love it so much that I made a playlist of it in my mp3 & listen to it 2 weeks straight over & over again without me listening to other music & I don't even understand it! Although I listen to other music now but a day will not go by without me listening to YB OSTs at least once. I consider it (along with the other YB products I've got) one of my treasures that I'll enjoy in the years to come. The songs are a joy to listen to:

*Still (As Ever) & Promise (both version by A.N. JELL & Lee Hong Ki, along with his band FT Island), Down from Heaven & Lovely Day are feel-good songs that will cheer you up

*Without Words (versions by Park Shin Ye, 9th Street, Jang Geun Suk (OST 2) & even the piano version) is just beautiful, you'll want to hear it again & again

*One of my most favourite song, My Heart is Cursing, although sad, is still great to listen to. You'll feel the emotion of the song even if you don't understand it

Hearing A.N. JELL singing together (even on their individual songs) makes me wish that they're a real band. My only regret: Jang Geun Suk's version of What Should I Do?; Jung Yong Hwa's version of Song for a Fool; Lee Hong Ki's Very Good Words & Jang Geun Suk & Park Shin Ye's duet of Fly Me to the Moon wasn't included in the OSTs.

The 3 hot guys & 1 beautiful girl along with the rest of the casts in the photobooklet & photocards are just great to look at:

*the lipstick/make-up is just right (they're portraying a famous band. Are there any celebrities who don't wear make-up on their official photos?)

*you can see their happiness and closeness in the group photos, no awkwardness at all

*I don't see anything wrong with the 'V' sign, there'll be no broken fingers in their future

So if you're going to get just 1 OST, make it this one. You'll enjoy it tremendously ^_^

I am a huge fan of the drama, but this cd was sooo not worth my money. I wasn't especially crazy about the music even while I was watching the drama, but I wanted to join the hype and have something related to "You're beautiful".
What a disappointment.
Out of 11 songs, I only liked two. Well actually, it's one song performed by to artists. "Without words", sang by Park Shine-hye and 9th street is the only song worth mentioning on this album.
Packaging?
Perhaps the most disappointing thing. I haven't seen such a bad photography in a while. How come? 3 hot guys and 2 beautiful girls - how could they mess up?
First off - guys are wearing way too much lipstick in the photos. They look like they're advertising Maybelline. Another thing that bothers me is how at group photos, they all look extremely awkward and out of place. While they're flashing "V" signs at the camera, their fingers look like they might snap.
Such a let down.
If you want a good drama soundtrack, I recommend Iris or Chuno. And if you want a YB collectible, try plushy or a story-book.
Pass out on this one.

I got the album today and it's the best Christmas gift ever! The album has most of the songs from the drama. The songs from the last 2 episodes are in the OST Part 2. But I am contented with the songs in his album. So good to listen to the songs over and over again with each song reminding me of the story.

It also surprises me that the cast of 'You're Beautiful' can sing so well. Although A.N.Jell is a made-up Korean band in the drama, the members of the band can sing as well as any other pop singers! Great job!

If you're a fan of 'My Girl', 'Goong' or 'Full House', you'll definitely love this album!
