Excellent Presentation

I had purchased the VCD format and was very satisfied with the quality of the show. Publisher was Crown Records in conjunction with Yam-Bak Charity Foundation.
Very well packaged with a black exterior case, includes 3 calendar cards for 2006 showing Yam/Bak in full color for Purple Hairpin, Dream of Red Chamber and Legend of White Snake. The performances was done very well and the 3rd part of the opera "Reincarnation of Red Plum" was done with new lyrics when the ghost appears and employ use of a mask to add horror to the show. During playback, clarity of picture was exceptional for a VCD. A good alternative to the expensive DVD version. Karaoke function did not seem to work, but it could be due to my player. |
