great film Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This is a stunning historical accurate film. The Chinese government purposely banned this film due to the similar dreadful political system they have now; such as buying there way through everything. If this film was allowed, many Chinese people like ‘sun zhong shan’ would fight against the government. Sigh…all I can say is china is fucked up hopeless.
The film should be shortened. There are many unnecessary scenes need to be cut out. I personally think these long useless scenes make the film somewhat tedious at times.
As for the acting…it isn’t great. But finding the actors that look almost EXACTLY like the historic faces deserves a huge credit. It’s not possible to find actors who have identical faces and be able to act as if they deserve an Oscar. This film is meant to capture the accuracy of this period of history, not to acting awards. If you are interested in Chinese history and respect it, this is an amazing film for ya. If not, don’t bother. If you don’t have any knowledge of the history of the Chinese political system, then don’t bother either.
Chinese people must see this film!!! Especially those who live in china now.

Zou Xiang Gong He Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This story sets during the late Qing dynasty where Empress Dowager Ci Xi was still ruling China with Emperor Kuang Hsu as a prisoner. Sun Yat Sen was a threat to the Qing dynasty: he called the people of China to get the rid of the old ruling system and corrupt government.

Some parts of the this series were altered as a result of the complaint from the Chinese government. This series actually sympathised with the Qing dynasty, according to the Chinese government.

So, viewers should judge the whole history themselves. To be honest, I prefer wearing the old chinese costumes rather than jeans and t-shirt.

Enjoy this series as I have never been disappointed by the acting quality of Chinese actors.
